| When a child is conceived how it's precious and should never be terminated for any reason. It's wrong to take a life, whether it be incest, endangers the mother's health/life or for any reason. All life is sacred; compromise is when you excuse with your mind what your spirit says is wrong. | |||

| State Employees entered into a contract in good faith; employees should be approached as they are in private business. Employees are paid as to how they produce. Pensions need to be fiscally responsible. Prosperity isn't accomplished by taking revenue from those who earn it, are accountable and spend it wisely and giving to those who didn't earn it, are not accountable and spend it foolishly. Hawaii DOE receives it's revenue from the GET 4.712% not from property tax revenue. Bureaucracy should never take on the role of the legislator, they do not levy taxes. | |||

| Hawaii's educational system should be divided into four school districts (Hawaii, Maui, West Oahu, East Oahu and Kauai. Hawaii DOE is too large, unmanageable and unaccountable to it's parents. The government that governs least governs best. Government's role is to protect the people, not run their lives. | |||
| Kauai has sub-standard traffic corridors that do not conduct traffic efficiently. Kauai's infrastructure is outdated and needs more highways to allow for traffic flow. I propose a two-lane highway from Princeville ag lots to the Knudsen gap (the powerline trail), with roads connecting to it from each community to relieve traffic constraints on Highways 56 and 50. This can be funded by revenue from public tolls, local, state and federal taxes (Interstate funds). It should be a closely scrutinized bidding process with bonuses for time goals met and exceeded and penalties for not meeting timely goals. |
